The university — your dressing room and backstage to life. —Ni FU
Music and art have a profound impact on the human soul. Musicians and artists are the guardians and engineers of this profound realm. For young students who aspire to enter the realm of music, the heartfelt voices and wise sayings of mentors are their "lighthouses" in their exploration. It's a fortune for students to have good teachers, and it's a glory for the school to have a group of masters. The School of Music, CUHK-Shenzhen boasts an abundance of music masters, and we harness their leadership and enlightening roles by implementing the significant and far-reaching "Art Lighthouse Project". The "Teachers' Remarks II" interview series is now officially launched building on the success of the previous column.
Entering university means students begin to have more freedom in their lives. In addition to studying, the most important thing in university is to find one's own direction and goals and strive to achieve them. Unlike high school, learning to independently manage one's study time during university is essential. Cherish the experiences and accumulation of the four years in the university, invest the most valuable time in learning and personal growth, as this will greatly benefit the students in their future life paths. Do not be afraid of the difficulties and setbacks on the path of growth, as they are all necessary steps toward success. May all students eventually shine in their own stage of life!
In this issue, we invited Prof. Ni FU, Professor of Composition & Theory at the School of Music, CUHK-Shenzhen.
