Zeng Qiao
Zeng Qiao, Associate Professor at the Central Conservatory of Music and Council Member of the China Laban Center, graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy in 2004 and earned his master's degree from the Central Conservatory of Music in 2017. He also studied at the American Dance Center and was invited as a guest instructor by the International Student Dance Troupe at Yale University. In 1998, Zeng Qiao won first prize in the Hubei Provincial Dance Competition. In 2000, he starred in the dance drama Shanshui Yao (Ballad of Mountains and Waters), which received numerous awards. From 1993 to 2000, he served as a principal dancer at the Wuhan Music and Dance Theatre. He published his monograph Children's Body Movement and Dance under Rudolf Laban's Educational Philosophy.
