Concert "Nine Images," which will be held on May 15 at 19:30 by the Composition & Theory Division, CUHK-Shenzhen, is the result of a fruitful collaboration between Composition Concert Course (MUS5118) and Advanced Orchestra Training Courses (MUS6230/6243/6251). It features works by first-year Masters students in music composition: Xi Chen, Qianli Dong, Yubo Jia, Bing Li, Bingyue Liu, Qingqing Wei, Xiaoxuan Xu, Ruizhe Zhang, and Dan Zhu. The works by these nine young composers are varied in form, style, and artistic intention, hence the title "Nine Images." The concert presents vivid images of these energetic young people full of unique personalities and colorful imaginations.
